Product Review for AVID Headphone with Optional Volume Control
Our school bought 130 pairs of these headphones because they looked sturdy. We had trouble with headphones breaking in the past. These aren't any better. There is a little amplifier inside the earpiece that becomes dislodged from the casing. The amp is held by a tiny, thin wire. After six months of kids dropping the headphones, I have had to perform surgery to reattach at least half of them. I wouldn't suggest buying these for mobile computer labs based on my experience. They would work much better in a computer lab of desktops where the chances of them getting dropped is reduced.
BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend
