I have bought two of these av carts now. I have never seen a product that is so hard to get together. When they arrived it was certain that the metal had seen better days, my business partner and I had to beat kinks out of the metal to flatten it. Some pieces were so bad that we had to send them to the person that restored our cars to have him reweld the metal so it was straight and hit it with paint. I do not recommend this item to anyone that is not very good with assembly. It requires a good sense of structual design and sometimes the need to have a professional available to repairs some of the pieces. In the end however my clients were pleased with the finished product. The fact remains that these companies charge way to much for a few pieces of metal and a couple of screws. This is the cheapest item I have found in my search to provide a business with a cost effective cart. The next ones up or that are local, cost around 1700$ and that is just to much for something like this ( I guess they think they made them out of gold ).

BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I was very disappointed with this purchase. The directions for assembly are horrendous. As I was in the process of assembling it, there were holes that didn't line up properly. I was using a drill and hammer among other things. One of the cabinet edges was far from smooth, a flimsy metal holder that keeps the door in place broke after two door openings, etc. etc. I would have sent it back but I had to have it up and running for a presentation the next day.

BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I can usually put together basic office things such as an A/V cart, but this one required so many different tools that I had to call Facilities Services to have it assembled.The directions were absolutely AWFUL; I had parts that were not listed on the parts list, but were included in the directions. Sorry; I purchased the cart last spring before going off-contract for the summer and cannot remember what all of the issues were with assembly. But I do remember being extremely frustrated with the poor instructions [...]. Now that the cart has been assembled, I am very pleased with it and believe it will meet our expectations.

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The assembly was not the easiest, it took quite a few hours and the directions were pretty uninformative. I had to wing it as far as what screws go where. They had a chart, but it was really no help in correlation with the directions. Once assembled it does the job and it looks decent.

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
