we wished the box would of come as a regular box and not have the picture of the item on it. This was supposed to have been a Christmas gift but when delivered my daughter saw the box with the picture and knew what was in it. We had to explain why Santa used a delivery service....

bad directions, had to drill 2 holes for the rectangular crossbar, mislabeled or unlabeled screw packages(you can't tell which to use where most of the time). If you manage to get it together it's not a bad little workstation.

For the cost this is a great table/stool set. I was a little disappointed about the overall height of the table. I'm 5'10" and at the table's max height it was barely comfortable. Also seems a little difficult to adjust height. The easiest way seems to be flipping the whole thing over to loosen the knobs and pull the table to your best guess height wise. It seems to be the only way to do it evenly. Also the pencil tray does not have pre-drilled holes. That seemed silly since everything else is started for you. Be prepared with the instructions...they are pretty blurry and a little difficult to read. Also I had some of the number stickers missing from my screws so that made it a little frustrating as well. Despite these minor negatives I will be enjoying using my table to do my sketching and scrapbooking.

Fed Ex was very disappointing as a shipper. Not only did they attempt to deliver it around 4 pm when most people are at work (I actually do get off at 4 and had just missed them), but they didn't leave a slip so I didn't even realize I had missed them. I thought they would have left the package on the front porch. Wrong. When I called trying to see if maybe he could still drop it off since I had just missed him I had to go through some silly automated answering servce then deal with customer service reps who were probably from an entirely different state. I was told that they don't attempt delivery twice in one day and that they wouldn't be open until Monday (this was a Friday). Then I was told I could pick it up myself that night. I asked if I could call the warehouse to see when it would be there that night and was told that the warehouse number was internal and they don't give it out. So they put me on hold, while they called. I then got the answer that they had no clue when it would arrive (probably because the delivery driver was still in my neighborhood!). Then I was told that I could pick it up between the hours of 8-12 the next morning even though they had already told me that they were only open Mon-Fri. I said I would have to see if I my boyfriend would be able to since we needed his vehicle. I called back 15 min later. Went through the whole automated system AGAIN. Got a different rep who proceeded to agrue with me about being able to pick up my package the next day since they were closed even though I told her what the other rep said. Put on hold so she could confirm AGAIN what I was already told. Finally I get a green light to pick it up the next day. I asked if I had to be there or if someone could pick it up for me. "All they would need is the door slip and government issued id with the same address as you" First, I didn't get a door slip so I was told to have him take the tracking number. Then he says he gets there and it took 20 minutes of them giving him the runaround saying they couldn't give the package to him becuase he wasn't me. He finally left with it after telling them he wasn't leaving without it and that this was all ridiculous, but really it was more stress than it was worth all because I was excited to set up my desk and use it over the weekend. I hope CSN conciders shipping with a different carrier, because Fed Ex lacks the capacity to deal with customers who aren't a big business.

[...] the instructions to assemble this table were terrible. Some parts were missing and/ or labeled incorrectly and I received two of the same parts which caused problems when assembling the final product. A complete headache and waste of time.

We are using this as an art table. We needed something in this size, smaller than most tables for this purpose. This seems solid and flexible. The one con seems to be that the mechanism for adjusting the table top tilt is tricky to use. It's easy to raise it up, but difficult to lower it.

Delivery was much faster than I anticipated. I was able to assemble the table very easily, but in the end there were 2 accessory pieces missing...since they were not critical to putting the table together we were still able to use it until replacement parts arrived. I contacted customer service via email and they sent replacement parts right away. I was very pleased with their responsiveness.

I use my table for art and sewing. It's a great deal and space saver in my bedroom. The drawers and utility rack come in handy for paint tubes, paper pads, rulers, and brushes. I docked one star because there were no pre-drilled holes for my pencil trough.
